Ram-Sita or Radha Krishna??

November 17, 2011

Is the only difference the flute and the peacock feather?

I don’t think so! Allow me to think aloud!

Ram is just a simple human being who follows the rules and Rules of the society to a T. He is the perfect son, brother, husband, ruler, friend…yet he is doing something or the other for Himself and his family only. In his own life’s quest, some of the people who come his way benefit from his divinity. Sita as we all know is every other Indian wife.

Krishna is anything but simple. He is not bound by any rules . He is a free spirit…never doing anything for his own good but always others. He is not a family man in the true sense of the word. He cannot be bogged down by the mundane. In other words, He is what every Man wants to be but cannot, without being notorious. His counterpart Radha wants to break free….the first liberated woman.
